Looking for a Great Story?
Hi everyone, I hope you are having a fun break. If you are looking for something to do I found a couple of really great websites for you to check out.
The first one is called: http://www.sillybooks.net/ On this site you will find lots of really cute stories! (Make sure you have your sound on.)
And the next one is www.learner.org/interactives/story/index.html This one is also a story, but after they tell you the story they will ask you questions and you will have to click on the pictures. It's pretty cool. (Also, make sure you have your sound on.)
Let me know if you go to these sites, and what you think of them!

Pen Pals
Our third grade class has been writing Pen Pal letters to Mr. Hart's third grade class in Waukesha. They started writing to each other right away in September. Here are a couple of photos of our class working on their letters and a Thanksgiving card for their Pen Pal. We call them our "Turkey" cards. They are hard at work!
M.R. makes a great Turkey! L. G. is finishing his letter. J. S. is hard at work, S. C. and V. Z. have some great looking turkeys!

Dear class,
I feel really good about meeting all of your parents at conferences. We talked a lot about doing homework, READING BOOKS, and all the good things you are doing in school! Our goals for this quarter:
1. Read at home 15 minutes EVERYDAY!
2. Study your spelling words
3. Complete ALL of your homework
4. Remember to write neatly on all of your homework, even math!
Any other goals you can think of?
Ms. Hart :)
